Atos and EMC Reveal Independent Research Showing Enterprise Cloud Strategies are Predominantly Hybrid

In September 2015, Canopy and EMC commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a study of IT decision makers to better understand the state of the market related to the adoption of hybrid cloud. Report reveals some interesting directions for Coco Cloud exploitation.

The presentations of the joint networking session "Key challenges in end-to-end privacy/security in untrusted environments" organized by the H2020 projects WITDOM, TREDISEC and PRISMACLOUD at the ICT2015 event are now available.

DPCP cluster news

Data Protection, Security and Privacy (DPSP) project cluster that now includes Coco Cloud related projects (TACO cluster) had a meeting in Pisa.
Among other things, agreements has been made to make map of synergies and challenges, as well as a whitepaper on Future challenges.
SPECS and Coco Cloud Workshop is announced and confirmed for the 23rd of February in Naples and DPSP cluster project expressed their interest in joining this initative.

WP29 opinion on Code of conduct for cloud service providers

The European Cloud Partnership (ECP), on the other hand, brings together industry and the public sector to establish a Digital Single Market for cloud computing in Europe. Under ECP there are select industry groups (SIG, see more at https://ec.europa.eu/digital-agenda/en/cloud-computing-strategy-working-groups) that work on strategic topics, such as to agree on a code of conduct for cloud computing providers. Code of conduct SIG delivered draft document regarding privacy issues in cloud that was submitted for analysis by WP29.
