CSP Forum registration now open

The CSP Innovation Forum 2015 is organised by the European Commission, DG CNECT (Unit H4 Trust & Security) and the CSP Forum .This event will include DG CNECT H2020 informational sessions relating to 'Digital Security:Cybersecurity,Privacy & Trust' calls in 2015 (DS-03-2015,DS-04-2015,DS-05-2015, DS-07-2015). (The CSP Innovation Forum 2015 is supported by A4CLOUD, ATTPS ,IPACSO, PRIPARE, SECCORD, SECURED, TREsPASS projects)

Registration is now open through EC page. Online registration will close on Wednesday 15/4/2015 and the places are limted.

Cloudscape VII event in Brussels

Cloudscape VII is taking place in Brussels on March 9 and 10. Besides the main programme and a practical, hands-on approach, it is also a place where different EU-funded projects are organising their workshops. This year´s workshop include CloudWatch, ARTIST and MARKOS workshop. Coco-cloud will disseminate information at these workshops.

Cloud for Europe Launches Tender for Public Sector Cloud Innovation

The Cloud for Europe project (FP7) announces the publication of a tender for the joint pre-commercial procurement (PCP) of research and development on cloud computing services. The purpose of the tender is to research and demonstrate solutions to overcome obstacles for the adoption of cloud computing by the public sector. The Cloud for Europe PCP is inviting suppliers to bid for any or all of three services (lots), each of which provides a framework agreement for the realisation of research and development services. The lots are:

“The goal of Coco Cloud is to create a foundation for the cloud security model,” said Jakub Boratynski, head of the Trust and Security Unit within DG CONNECT for the European Commission. “It will help overcome regulatory and legal issues among EU countries to ensure that sensitive data is carefully controlled and always protected by context-adaptive solutions. As trust in cloud increases, so will the trust of users in cloud services, ultimately benefitting the digital economy and society in general.”
